Day of reckoning: Oops! 151.4 lbs. How did that happen? Oh, well. I'd already given up six items of clothing, so I just grabbed four more to discard and took my punishment like a big girl.
I had good intentions of really getting serious about losing weight, because now I have to reach 148 lbs. by the end of October or out go ten more clothing items. I had oatmeal, a drizzle of honey, half an apple (chopped), and a quarter cup of walnuts for breakfast.
Did my month-end accounting - spent way too much last month - even bigger bills coming up in October: oil change, renew PBS subscription, pay balance of our trip to San Antonio in December (Patsy, Terry, Sue) which will be over $6,000. Another oh, well. Can't take it with you.
Cleaned out the fridge in anticipation of groceries I need. Found a lot of apples which were going south, so I made a big skillet of fried apples and yum! Already saw my good eating habits take a hike.
Finally ran errands. Trip to thrift store to drop clothes, old bath scales, and a gold wire basket. On to get gas (lots of driving when Kathy was here), Aldi, Harter House. Then I messed up big time and went to Little Caesar's and picked up a pepperoni pizza. Still haven't found Uncle Ben's Long Grain and Wild Rice to make Linda's casserole. Already 4:00, so after eating pizza and more apples, I just snacked on almonds and craisins instead of eating dinner. While watching the debate, I ate part of a Sweet Kale bagged salad. This way of eating has to stop!
Put all the groceries away, but still need to do things like separate pork steaks and wrap individually and freeze, etc.
Did a load of laundry.
Set up the cat beds in the indoor patio since the temperature is supposed to drop to the 40's at night.
I watched most of the debate, but got tired of those biased moderators and goofy Walz. Why are the Republicans so wimpy they won't insist on a debate with conservative moderators? Maybe this is their way of showing the world how biased the media has become?
Worked on cleaning up my computer, backed up photos. Listed the Hourly History books on my Kindle which pertain to Ancient History.
The lady came and put up the little flags to mark the utilities, so I guess my overseeding is taking place on the 3rd.
